Research Papers and Articles are welcome for publication on the understanding that these contain original unpublished research work and have not been submitted for publication anywhere else. A certificate from the author to this effect should invariably accompany the paper or article.
The article must be written in English.
The contribution must be submitted in soft copy.
The text in Research papers/ Articles should use Palatino font and its size should be 12 points. The font size in reference should be 10 points.
The article should be accompanied by an abstract, not more than five hundred words.
As far as possible, abbreviations should not be used. In case these are incorporated, a complete list of abbreviations used should invariably be given at the end of the References.
Photographs should be only high-definition digital ones.
References should be given at the end of the article. The standard pattern to be followed is as follows:
(a) References to Journal should include author’s name (surname in capitals followed by the initials), year of publication, title of the book (underlined), volume, number, edition, name and address of the publisher, and page number cited.
Example of journal citation:
Fuhrer, A. A, 1891. The Monumental Antiquities and Inscriptions in the North Western Province and Oudh. Superintendent Government Press NW and Oudh, Allahabad. pp.152-53.
(b) References to Articles in Periodicals should include author’s name, year of publication, title of article (within double inverted commas), title of periodical (underlined), volume, number (if required), and page number.
Example of journal citation:
Sanderson, A.2009. ‘The Shaiv Age’. Genesis and Development of Tantrism. Ed. Einoo, S. Institute of Oriental Culture, University of Tokyo, Tokyo. p.45.
When more than one publication of a single year by the same author is cited, all except the first should be indicated by a small alphabet added to the year.
(c) In the First Citation full details are to be given and in the succeeding citation(s) “op. cit.” may be used with author’s name and the year in which the article/journal was published. If the citation has already been given, the next citation for the same work should be written as “ibid., p. page no.”.
Send the abstract written in a maximum of 500 words.
Please connect the photographs with the text.
Place the photographs at the appropriate place in the text.
Write captions below the photographs.
Do not label photos on plates, and do not put them at the end of the article. We have freedom of publishing a large number of photographs in this e-journal, therefore don’t give plates, as is done in hard copy journals.
Photographs should be in high definition and cropped properly.
Abbreviations used with the article should be placed at the end of the article and before the references.
After abbreviation, the acknowledgment should be given.
The Editorial Board reserves the right to evaluate content, curtail the number of words, including editing of language.
Only appropriate photographs that are relevant to the content will be entertained.
The vernacular words should be typed in Italics.
In the selection of research paper, photograph, and line drawings, the decision of the editor will be final.
The Editor will not be responsible for views expressed in the articles.
